Barcelona City Council
The Barcelona City Council, led by Mayor Jaume Collboni, works to consolidate a model of a city that is open, diverse and committed to social justice and the defense of human rights and non-discrimination. For more than 25 years, it has had an Office for Non-Discrimination and an Interculturality Plan, and has a strong social fabric involved in the prevention and fight against discrimination and hate speech.
In this line, it has promoted the campaign “Unite your voice against racism” with more than 60 anti-racist activities. An initiative that will culminate with the UNESCO Global Forum against Racism and Discrimination, on December 10 and 11 in Barcelona.
