Barcelona is a diverse, inclusive and open city that works firmly to combat racism in all its forms, both structurally and in everyday situations that often go unnoticed. With this objective in mind, the Barcelona City Council promotes an anti-racist city model that guarantees equal rights and promotes coexistence free of discrimination, both in everyday relationships and in institutions.
In this line, Barcelona reaffirms its commitment with the campaign “Join Your Voice Against Racism”, complemented by a citizen agenda with more than 60 activities. This initiative will culminate with the hosting of the UNESCO Global Forum against Racism and Discrimination, to be held on December 10 and 11, 2024.
